Limoncello Labels

Project: The distillery owner had a vision of creating characters inspired by Victorian era chromolith seed packets and anthropomorphic vegetal figures—right up my alley. In total, so far there are 12 distinct labels. The distillery sources fresh local ingredients and stages cocktail parties and live music at their country distillery. They also participate in other events in the mid-Atlantic states, such as serving cocktails at the National Zoo’s fundraiser in Washington, DC. Servers wear costumes based on the illustrated characters I created. The labels have won numerous awards for packaging in the beverage industry and been featured in 3×3 and American Illustration’s annuals, among others.
