Future of Storytelling Festival

Project: Melcher Media hosts the Future of Storytelling Summit every fall in New York City. The summit is an invitation-only event that gathers top thinkers and practitioners from diverse fields to share ideas that further our understanding of the art, science, and business of communication in the 21st century and beyond. In 2016 they decided to host a weekend event as well, The FoST Fest, open to the public. FoST Fest explored how new technologies are shaping storytelling in the digital age as a playground experience. I was hired to design and illustrate posters of fictitious past FoST Fests, as if it were an event that had been going on for over a century. Getty Images was a sponsor, so I was able to access their vast library to do picture research.
